At Burton Court our wedding breakfast menus are truly unique. The owner, Helen J Simpson, is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and can advise on wedding menus drawing from her unique knowledge of food. The focus of the menus tends to be 'traditional with a twist' that can include Herefordian recipes using locally produced ingredients. No other venue can offer this service.
'At Burton Court we like to indulge in the delights of English and especially Herefordshire cookery. The emphasis has always been on home produced food; as, a Herefordian by birth, I believe that this is important.
A Herefordshire cox's apple or English peach or nectarine is unsurpassed. We support local farm suppliers for vegetables, together with fresh salmon from the River Wye whenever possible, beef from the world famous Hereford cattle and lamb from the Welsh and border flocks, whilst Herefordshire cider is often used. I do hope you will enjoy trying the recipes yourself when you come to Burton Court for a special occasion.'
