My Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham - ITV 4pm on Wed 5th September 2012
Earlier this summer we were filmed for a new culinary show featuring the popular actress - Lynda Bellingham. Lynda is well known for appearances on TV and film including 'All Creatures Great and Small', 'Calender Girls', 'Strictly Come Dancing' and appearances on 'Loose Women'.
Helen J Simpson as a well known food historian is shown helping Lynda on one of her culinary missions. Edward is also filmed guiding Lynda around the house and gardens as well as an impromptu salsa dance in the Great Hall!
The show is an hour long feature based in Herefordshire including the Mortimer Food Festival and proves the saying that Herefordshire is the 'land of milk and honey'. Catch it on ITV1 on Wednesday 5th September at 4pm. Official photograph above courtesy of Two Four Productions and ITV.
Open Air Theatre through Heartbreak Productions
We were delighted with this year's performances of 'The Railway Children' and 'Private Lives'. We will get some photographs of the Private Lives performance uploaded shortly from the professional photographer Steve Catcheside from www.ketch-22.co.uk.
Noel Coward's Private Lives, Wednesday 25th July 2012
Moving from misfortune to full-blown absurdity, this fast-paced comedy proves to be the perfect recipe for a stylish evening's entertainment that combines all the bubbles and froth with the depth and complexities of a vintage champagne. And, all served up with a splash of "ooh, la la" and a dash of "je ne sais quoi"!
Experience this spectacular performance in true open air style within the glorious surroundings of our Edwardian gardens and parkland. Please bring your own low-backed chairs and/or rugs. Audiences are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. We advise an extra layer for putting on after sunset. A picnic with family and friends is all part of the open air theatre ritual and we wholeheartedly encourage you to indulge. Refreshments will be on sale before the performance and during the interval

The Burton Court Mile
On Sunday the 25th of March, over 80 people turned up at Burton Court to support the 58 runners going that extra mile in aid of Sport Relief 2012.
The sun shone and the turn-out was outstanding. Joining the supporters was Graham Turner, (Shrewsbury Town FC Manager) who cheered on the runners and was handing out medals at the finish line.
Burton Court would like to extend a huge thank you to all who attended; all the volunteers who marshalled the course and helped with registration, Graham Turner and of course all the runners, without whom we would not have been able to raise over £400 before sponsorship!
