The earliest recorded use of Burton Court was in 1402 when the Prince of Wales, later to become King Henry V stationed his troops to watch the movements of Owen Glendower. Nowadays the medieval Great Hall and adjoining rooms can be used in a more civil way for all types of usage of functions and events.
Over the years we have provided the setting for television productions, fashion shows, photography shoots, political fundraising and local community events such as music recitals, concerts, scottish dancing and ceilidh.
The quiet motorway free roads of Herefordshire, make it a particular favourite of motoring enthusiasts, and we have been used for Morgan Car rallies and Citroen car launches.
Our grounds are well laid out for larger scale events like festivals, fayres, product launches and company staff days.
